Michael Paul Plenty Horse was born September 2, 1960 in Rosebud, SD to Josephine Eagle Dog and Adolph Plenty Horse. He attended school in Ideal as he was growing up.
Michael was active in his church and went on to college in Tempe, AZ.
He enjoyed spending time with his great-granddaughters Bianca Jo and Bille Joslin.
Michael died Monday, January 30, 2017 in his home in Gregory at the age of 56.
He is preceded in death by his father Adolph Plenty Horse, mother Josephine Eagle Dog, four brothers, and one sister.
Surviving are two sisters Eleanor Thunder and Mayren Crooked Foot, two brothers Robert Plenty Horse Sr. and John Crooked Foot Jr., many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

Wake services for Michael Plenty Horse, of Gregory, SD, were held Wednesday, February 8, and Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ideal Guild Hall in Ideal, SD with Dale Sherman and Roy Stone officiating.
A Memorial Service was held Friday, February 10, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ideal Guild Hall with Mother Annie Henniger officiating.
Urn Bearer was Ronald Long Crow.
Honorary Urn Bearers were Wayne Otterman, Wiley DuBray, Shirley Thunder, Danny Eagle Hawk, Della Eagle Star, Stanley Eagle Star, Russell & Kathy Red Horn, and Charlie Long Crow.
Inurnment was in the Holy Spirit Cemetery, Ideal, SD.
