Ginger Elaine (Soesbe) Shutt, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Cheyenne, WY surrounded by her loving family on December 12, 2015.

She was born on September 1, 1944 in Gregory, SD to Vernon and Eva (Audiss) Soesbe. She married Jerry David Shutt on August 1, 1961, moved to Cheyenne in 1968, and had four children. Ginger was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She also was an avid member of Eastern Star for 36 years. She was a past matron and past Grand Martha as well as serving in various other positions throughout Eastern Star. Jerry and Ginger owned and ran Shutt's Auto Repair from 1985 to present.

Ginger is survived by her husband Jerry Shutt; daughters Melanie Shutt (Jeff) and Michelle (Louie) Harsin; sons Jerry (Theresa) Shutt and Lowell (Carly) Shutt; grandchildren Scott Harsin, Shawn Harsin, Jeremy (Jordan) Shutt, Jason (Alyssa) Shutt, Leah (Whitney) Combs, Josh Shutt, Taylor Shutt, Delbert Spence and Candy Spence; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, as well as many other family members.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, one grandson; Terence James Gilligan, one granddaughter, Brook Shutt and one foster daughter, Tammy Spence.

A funeral service for Ginger Shutt was held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home in Gregory, SD with Pastor Royal Archer officiating.

Music was provided by Denalda Fortuna, pianist.

Casket Bearers were Jerry Shutt, Jr., Lowell Shutt, Jason Shutt, Joshua Shutt, Steven Gilligan, Jeremy Shutt, Scott Harsin, and Shaun Harsin.

Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Gregory, SD.
