Dwight Arden Roggow was born May 29, 1956 to Vilas and Amy (Ameila Wetzler) Roggow. He was the oldest of three children. Dwight attended the Bunnell school and also the Lucas school. He graduated from Burke High School in 1974.
Dwight attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, ND for four years. Then he returned to farm with his Dad and beloved uncles. In 1996 he began trucking as a bull hauler and later worked for Cenex for 10 years. For the last several years he worked for Nabor Trucking along with farming.
Dwight married the love of his life and very best friend, Linda Jane Davis on December 27, 1996.
Dwight was a loving and kind son, father, husband, brother, papa, and friend. He will be dearly missed. Dwight was passionate about his faith, his love for Jesus, his wife, family, and friends, such a kind and gentle soul.
Dwight went to his heavenly Father June 17, 2016, at his Centennial Farm north of Burke, SD, at the age of 60 years.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; son Bradon & Susan Roggow, their children Lilee, Sara, Emily, Hailee, and Ivan; stepson Joshua & Lori Yauney, their daughter Harper Harlow and baby girl due in July; step daughter Jennie & Ret. Msgt. Joseph Metzger, their daughters Leigha and Joslyn Grace; his mother Amy (Wayne) Hill; sister Marlene Krumwiede and sons Zach, Geoffrey, and Austin, sister Shawnda (Dennis) Hazen and children Stephen, Sam, Grace, and Rebecca; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and step nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Vilas Roggow and numerous uncles and an aunt.

A prayer service for Dwight Roggow, 60, was held Thursday evening, June 23, 2016, at Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Wetzler officiating and Pastor Allen Bouslaugh assisting. Musice was provided by Stephen Hazen singing "Until Then."
The funeral service was held Friday, June 24, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at the Civic Center in Burke, SD with Pastor Mark Wetzler officiating.
Music was provided by Michaela Johnson, pianist. Jim & Diane Davis sang a duet "Going Home." Soloist Geoff Smith sang "I Will Rise."
Marlene Smutney was in charge of registration.
Casket Bearers were Zachary Krumwiede, Geoffrey Krumwiede, Austin Krumwiede, Stephen Hazen, Sam Hazen, Grace Hazen, and Rebecca Hazen.
Interment was in the Graceland Cemetery, Burke, SD.
