I was a classmate of Darlenes and always enjoyed conversation with her. Too young and much to give to others. Gone too soon but in an eternal peace.

I went to BHSU with Darlene. We had a lot of fun days there but I only knew her my sophomore year. One weekend I went home with her to Dallas and she liked coming down to our farm.
We were in contact and would talk to each other on the telephone at least three times a year. She came through Wall several times and I would meet her at the Wall Drug. She talked very highly of you,

Many years ago, Darlene, Sharon Carter & Shirley Schueneman were a couple of years behind me at Edens #40, north of Dallas, SD. Darlene was a first generation of Czech (Bohemian) parents in our state. Her Dad, Jerry, was a friendly man and was so proud to be a American.
