what a great guy. We thoroughly enjoyed our hunting time with Dave. I will never forget the love and enjoyment he had taken his granddaughter on our hunt.

Trish, Nikki & Chris,
How very fortunate I was to be a part of the Double K family! Dave was definitely one special guy! A great entertainer, motivator, friend, hunting advocate all while living life to the fullest. What a great guy who will be forever missed. Peace to you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find comfort in the fold of your friends and family. And may your memories of your Dad help you find peace.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I feel fortunate to have been able to hunt out with Dave and his friends that were there every year, he was a legend, and will be missed by all.

To Trish and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. The Gregory area has lost a wonderful member of the community. He, and his smile, will be missed. He certainly touched many lives during his earthly journey. May peace be with each one of you.

Dave's obituary summed it up well. Dave's smile, wit, charisma and relentless shoot to kill made him a very special person. Dave was the only guy the could insult and embarrass a customer and make them love it so much they would come back to hunt year after year.
Gregory and the surrounding area will miss this very fine man.
My deepest sympathy to Trish and the family. Sorry I cannot be there for the service.

Trish, Nikki, Chris and families:
My deepest sympathies to all of you; I'm so sorry for your loss. Dave was just one of a kind! A happy-go-lucky guy that just seemed to enjoy life. He was a good man- a great story teller and could B.S. with the best of them! He certainly made me laugh a time or two that is for sure. Thinking of you all in the days to come as you grieve and mourn. I pray the stories people share of the times with Dave bring you comfort.

Oh Trish, Nikki, & Chris - There is nothing that I can say but I am thinking of you. Life just doesn't seem fair at times does it? Love you all and I just want you to know Nikke & Chris your dads smile lives on in both of you.

I am sorry to hear about Dave. My favorite memory of him was in Gregory Lanes. If you were celebrating a birthday and he was around, there was a pretty good chance that you would get a spanking with the pizza paddle. I was working with Shirley Gingery and it was her birthday. Dave teased her about getting a spanking. She told him to leave her alone. He chased her into the tiny kitchen, picked her up like a sack

Thanks for the wonderful times and experiences while hunting with Double K Guide Service - they were some of my fondest memories - I enjoyed your smile, laughter and best of all those fabulous stories.

Since you've made it to Tinkhamtown before me - "Shoot to Kill" but leave a few for me since I'm gonna be there someday too.

God Speed Dave
